Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Outsourcer, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during signup
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept full responsibility for activities under your account

Profile Information

The information you provide in your profile, including your CV, contact details, and demographic information, will be used to match you with relevant opportunities and shared with potential employers on the Outsourcer platform.

You consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Engage in harassment or abusive behavior
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
• Upload malicious content or malware
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Fees and How We Are Paid

The Outsourcer is free of charge for candidates. You are never charged to join the waitlist, to create or keep a profile, to apply for a role, to be interviewed, or to be introduced to an employer.

We are paid by the employers and clients who hire through the platform. We do not take a cut of your salary, and we do not charge placement fees to candidates.

We will never ask you to pay for training, equipment, certification, or administration as a condition of applying for or being placed in a role. South Africa's Department of Employment and Labour warns work seekers that being asked to pay for employment services is a strong indicator of a scam.

If anyone asks you to pay The Outsourcer in order to apply or to be placed, it is not us. Please report it to hello@theoutsourcer.co.za.

Candidate Safety and Verifying Contact From Us

We only contact candidates from an @theoutsourcer.co.za email address. Treat any message from another domain that claims to be us as suspicious.

We will never ask you for:

• A one-time PIN (OTP) or any password
• Your banking login details or card numbers
• Copies of your identity documents at waitlist stage
• Payment of any kind in exchange for work or an introduction

At waitlist stage we collect only your name, your email address, and optionally a phone or WhatsApp number. We use these to tell you when we launch and to set up your account. We do not sell your personal information or pass it to third parties for their own marketing. You may ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing hello@theoutsourcer.co.za. Our privacy notice sets out your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in full.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, and functionality of Outsourcer are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our permission.

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including your CV and portfolio materials.

Limitation of Liability

Outsourcer is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee specific job placements or outcomes. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
